A tribute to Bear, the dog

I dreaded the day something like this would be relevant but I it's also something I want to do.

A little less than 2 weeks ago, I received the news from back home that our family dog, "Bear", had to be put down in light of a major stomach issue she was suffering from. She was 12 or 13.

Bear was more then just a loyal family dog. She was neurotic, odd in more ways then one but always the social dog and one of the most lovable animals I've been around. It was her nerousis that even contibuted to her lovable nature. She only chased rocks and would stare at one whole heartedly untill you threw it for her. She used to have a major problem with gloves and hats as a younger pup and would desperately try to rip your gloves off when wearing them and would scoot away in fear whenever a hat was on. She feared water to the nines and could easily be picked up and held like a new born baby. When she a puppy, her ears grew first giving her the resemblance of a german shepard crossed with Yoda.

She was "Bear" the dog and she gave more love and life then a pet is expected and will absolutely never be forgotten.
